DEVTALAB MANDIR , REWA, MADHYA PRADES

Devtalab is a famous shiv mandir located on a bank of a lake called Devtalab. It is said that lord Brahma himself came there and created that temple. The people of that near by villages say that there is a big stone which only few peoplecan lift it up. The villagers also say that wahen lord Brahma came that night he created many temples, out of which is half built and  waterfall in BAHUTI (place in rewa) was also his creation.

People say that god had to stop his creation because dawn arrived and he left the things unbuilt. People from all over M.P and other states come ther to see that tempel. There the newely weded couples are also taken so that they can have a lovely future. In every rainy season people come ther to pay homage to lord Shiva. It is belived that all ur wishes come true if you pray with all your faith. It is not a big tourist spot but still its a lovely place to go there in that temple and here the Pandits chanting the Mantras every time.

One can see a huge crowd during the rainy season as it is thought to be lord Shiva's season. Fest is also organised during that season. So donot forget to hangout in this small area, when ever you visit Madhya Pradesh.
