JAIGARH FORT "RAJASTHAN"

The jaigarh fort was built by Jai Singh (ii) in 1726. It took 17 generations to built this huge empire. It was during Jai Singh ii when the fort was completed so it was named as Jaigarh fort. His residence is still there in City Palace. mountains  This beautiful fort is on the Hill of eagles( Cheel Ka Teela) of Aravilli ranges.
 
This fort is surrounded by hills all around. During rainy season it looks like a hill station. Tourist often visit this fort during rainy season since the climate gets little mild. The fort was guarded by the guards from all the sides. In Jaigarh the worlds biggest cannon is their. It was also named after Jai Singh's name as Jaivan. The city  also got its name after his name as "JAIPUR". From the fort the city can be viewed. It has many halls of memories and all the rare collection of his photos when he joined army.

Beautiful parks are made inside this fort. Its an amazing example of old art and shows the love of the king toward the art. The extra ordinary amazing carving over the walls shows the skill of the workers of that time.
So when ever you visit Jaipur or Rajasthan do not forget to visit this royal fort.

CITY PALACE UDAIPUR, RAJASTHAN

THE CITY OF LAKES

It is located on the bank of lake Pichola. The construction of this beautyful place was started by Maharana Udai Singh and was completed by his successors. One can easily reach Udaipur by taking local buses , tongals, auto Rickshaw and taxi from the city.This majestic city palace is the most- visited tourist attraction of Udaipur and often distingushed as the largest palace complex in rajasthan. 

City palace is the wonderful blend of medieval, European and chinese architectuer. The palace has various towers, domes and arches, which add to the flavor of the heritage site. towering on the bank of pichola lake, city palace is truly a feast to the eyes. City Palace is a marvelous assortment of courtyard, pavilions, terraces, corridors, rooms and hangind gardens. Encircled by fortifications, this imposing palace is wholly built granite and marbel.

In 1974 a part of the City Palace and the Zenana Mahal (Ladies Chamber) has been transformed into a museum. The museum is open for public. One can locate some striking painting in the Zenana Mahal which furthur leads to Lakshmi Chowk. Lakshmi Chowk is a beautiful white pavilion. In City Palace, the most captivating sight can be viewed from the tower and the terraces of 'Amar Vilas' from where you can get a amazing unforgetable view of Pichola Lake.
